Bloom Boom comes in 3 sizes: Baby, Throw, and Bed. The baby size is a quick and fun project that works great as a newborn gift or wall hanging.
This design uses 5 fabrics so there is lots of opportunity for colour and print combinations. Bloom Boom looks great with a light or a dark background and in prints or solids. Directional prints are not recommended.
Bloom Boom is suitable for advanced beginner quilters. It is a great skill builder for a newbie or a fun and fast project for a more experienced quilter.

The Bloom Boom samples were pieced by Helen Wilkinson (designer and founder of Cedar Quilt Co.). The throw sample was long armed by Shelly Moore from Ma Tante Quilting using the panto "hot cross buns". The baby sample was quilted by Helen Wilkinson. Flat lay images were taken by Shelly Moore.
